Design Docs/Storyboards
On this page you'll learn all about my analysis and design processes through the deliverables you'll find below. You'll find that I love solving problems. I combine enthusiasm, curiosity, data, and facts as I partner with clients to design engaging, results-driven solutions.
Featured Project
Design Document, Storyboard, and Needs Analysis for Articulate 360 Storyline Course for WorkGuard Advocates
Client Conversion Basics: Initial Phone Screening - Jurisdiction
Project:
In this project, I created 10 e-learning modules for a Utah-based workers' compensation law firm training new paralegals on how to use their phone screening scripts for client conversion. (I scrubbed and recreated one module for this portfolio with permission.) I handled the entire process, using the ADDIE and SAM models from needs analysis to evaluation.

Design Document for Sprouts' Garden Supply
Rise 360 Course: Winter Sowing Basics
Project:
Sprouts' Garden Supply's new employees need training on Winter Sowing, so they can advise customers on products to buy and help increase sales. I created an e-learning course with scenarios that trains new employees in the basics of winter sowing, and gives them practice advising customers and recommending products. I also created a job aid that would be both mailed to customers and used in the store as associates assist customers.

Design Document for Keithston Medical Center
Rise Course with Immersive Storyline Block: Electrical Safety for Nurses
Project:
There was a small fire in a patient's room at Keithston Medical Center. This resulted in a failed safety inspection. I created this Rise course to bring the medical center into compliance and prevent these issues in the future by training nurses on electrical safety. I built in scenario-based knowledge checks as well as an immersive 360 degree hospital room within a Storyline block. These features give nurses the opportunity to practice safety procedures and decision-making while on the job.

Design Document and Storyboard for Wood Crest Community Bank
Virtual Instructor-Led Training and Vyond Video:
The Power of Active Listening
Project:
Wood Crest Community Bank has noticed a dip in revenue due to customers taking their accounts to other banks. Upon further investigation, they notice that 70% of customer exit surveys mention poor customer service. Bank clerk supervisors also notice that their employees are often lacking customer service skills, such as active listening.
This design document outlines a broad training solution that includes a virtual instructor-led training (vILT), Vyond video, and a job aid, using Kirkpatrick's levels of evaluation. The accompanying storyboard gives detailed instructions to Vyond video developers about how to create the video.

Storyboard for Blue Raspberry Digital
Camtasia Screencast Tutorial: Brand Kits in Canva
Project:
Blue Raspberry Digital Marketing has many interns for the summer who need training on some of the intermediate features of Canva. This will ensure brand consistency across designs, and streamline interns’ workflow. It will also reduce interruptions to supervisors’ workflows from interns asking questions.
This video is part of a broader training solution that includes a series of videos on how to use Canva. It is somewhere in the middle of the series, so it is expected that interns have some prior knowledge of how to use Canva. Interns are to complete the series during their initial training period. They also have access to the videos at anytime during their workday.
